Alkem has widespread operations in Francophone countries in Africa like Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Guinea, Niger, Cameroon, Congo and Gabon. The classified distribution and marketing practices in each of these countries offer excellent opportunities and therefore, Alkem has significant presence in all of these markets through direct promotion to doctors and pharmacies. Alkem began operations in major Francophone countries by 2013. Today, we are one of the fastest growing companies in Francophone countries. We have our own marketing heads based in Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Cameroon, who look after business in various clusters. Within a short span, we have established ourselves as a pharmaceutical company. Some of our products have reached second position in major markets and with many more in the pipeline, Francophone Operations will be all the more significant in Alkem’s global footprint.
